We're here to help you get the most from StorySavant.
StorySavant runs entirely on your Mac. After downloading from the Mac App Store, launch the app and follow the onboarding to start your first story. You can begin with Story Guide (AI-led creation) or CoWriter (refine your own writing).
Do I need an API key? StorySavant includes built-in AI access through your subscription. You can optionally provide your own Anthropic API key in Settings.
Where is my data stored? All your stories, blueprints, and interview data are stored locally on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded to external servers.
How do subscriptions work? Subscriptions are managed through the Mac App Store. You can manage or cancel your subscription in System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
What macOS version do I need? StorySavant requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
